Quinoa Rice with Parwal Stir-Fry 🌱
Chef Uma’s plant-based experiment continues.
Tried quinoa for the first time today.
Went with a simple approach — 50% quinoa, 50% rice — cooked it the same way we do rice in the Thermomix.
Honestly… it came out really nice. Better than I expected.
Paired it with a stir-fry curry using frozen parwal (pointed gourd).
Light, clean, and surprisingly satisfying.
What I’m learning through this journey —
plant-based cooking is not just about removing meat, it’s about understanding texture, balance, and how flavours come together.
Still experimenting. Still learning.
But this one worked 👍
